STS-01 and STS-02: When Do You Need a Manual?
A European standard scenario operates via an operational declaration when the operation fully complies with the established conditions. In the Ireland, STS-01 and STS-02 are available, with specific C5 and C6 requirements respectively. A declaration does not replace the need for clear procedures and records.

Which documentation remains required?
Record responsibilities, preparation, controlled ground area, observers, communication, technical checks, contingency/emergency, maintenance, training, and registrations. The operator declares compliance with the requirements package.
When not to use an STS?
If the UAS, environment, operational method, or another condition does not fully comply, do not submit an STS declaration 'approximately.' Consider whether PDRA or SORA is the appropriate route.
